She is a super entertainer. The hey y’all Louisiana bit is a little over the top after you’ve seen her a couple of times but she is undeniably talented and fun to watch

Back in the day we used to run in the same circles so I knew her personally. I will say this: her on stage persona is what it is, but IRL she’s very nice, fun to talk to, and very pretty. She does the makeup and all for her shows but she is gorgeous on a regular day. I used to joke with her that she’s wifey material. Haven’t talked to her in years. I hope she’s doing well.

I conducted an interview with her before Jazz Fest around 2009/10 time frame. She was very polite and was excited to be starting college.
