Well it’s not very well understood and there’s no way to get inside someone’s head to help them figure it out. Medications have side effects, people give up on therapy early, it takes work all around, mostly from the depressed. Problem is, the depressed many times don’t care anymore, to climb out of it

Nope, most psychopaths, borderline or narcissist people have no feelings or insight to their emotions or others

No, you're not the only one. Gotta love the responses that assume you live a blessed life bc you're not a whiny, wallowing in self pity beta.

News flash, life's hard and sometimes shyte sucks. Some people simply can't deal with any sort of adversity.

go to work one morning a normal, healthy, and active 40 year old.
and have a heart attack mid morning due to a previously undiagnosed hereditary condition.

then have double bypass surgery 2 years later.

less than a year later, have your shoulder (dominant side) completely rebuilt.

so in just under 3 calendar years, go from still active and playing sports to a shell of your former self not capable of half of what you once could.

You are either a psychopath or your life is embarrassingly easy, which would make you a coward.

I’ll get downvoted but being depressed while living in America is pathetic.

Try living in some 3rd world shitehole and never having a chance

To be fair, I’ve seen studies showing the vast majority of depressed people either tell nobody or just their spouse. Many times it goes unnoticed by even a spouse. I hid it from my wife (no pics)and work (never told work) for several years before I started getting too drunk and admitting shite. Most depressed people keep to themselves about it. I’ve even discussed this same subject with actual therapists and they say most are embarrassed initially and don’t even want their families to know they are there, not uncommon at all. Personally I waited till kids were gone to bed to start heavy drinking. Haven’t been drunk in almost 9 years

I think there is the current generation and there are people that actually suffer clinical depression.

Not these bisexual chicks making millions singing about it.

Let me tell ya something. Nowadays, everybody's gotta go to shrinks, and counselors, and go on Sally Jessy Raphael and talk about their problems. What happened to Gary Cooper? The strong, silent type. That was an American. He wasn't in touch with his feelings. He just did what he had to do. See, what they didn't know was once they got Gary Cooper in touch with his feelings that they wouldn't be able to shut him up! And then it's dysfunction this, and dysfunction that, and dysfunction vaffancul!

Just restarted this last week. It’s even better on a rewatch
