Hey, uh, there's a bulb burned out in the bedroom light. Going to need you to come fix that ASAP.

When the OP said there was no lease he was replying to me. You and Mingo aren't paying attention and don't own rental property.

Again, you still would have been wrong so whole I've paid better attention than you, it's irrelevant.

That makes it even worse that you brought up a lease even after he told you directly that there is no lease.

I was correcting false information at that point.
I respect your smartassary, but your still wrong no matter how you look at it.

I actually had a tenant call me because the lights in the living room wouldn't come on(this was around Christmas time,) I talked him through the tricky procedure of going to the breaker box and seeing if a breaker was tripped, it was, he reset it and the lights came back on, I said there isn't a whole lot on that circuit and thought it was odd that it would trip, turns out they had a Christmas tree with it's lights plugged in, an extension cord run through the front window connected to exterior Christmas lights, and a few other "seasonal" devices plugged in, I told him to reduce the load or it would keep happening, funny thing was, they were Jewish

You’re
But what exactly was I wrong about? You posted about some mythical lease after OP directly stated to you that there was no lease.

ah, the old "she's hot so I'll make an exception to lease" clause, I'm familiar

I pointed out that just because he doesn't own the house doesn't mean he's not responsible for maintaining it. you're worse than a woman arguing about this.

Yeah you can over look a lot when they're good looking and pay on time.

And referenced a lease that doesn’t exist.
It’s okay to admit you were wrong.

Ignorance breeds confidence. A small bit of incomplete knowledge typically makes it worse.

Yeah I honestly don’t know what gutters he is even talking about. I have some on the side of the house that shoot out into some dirt like every other gutter on a house I've seen so I’m not sure. I really feel like these recent heavy rain storms just caused a random event and he’s looking to blame someone else.
I'm guessing there's a tree somewhere with roots that found an opening in the pipe and are clogging the drain. If it's an old cast iron pipe, they may enter through an opening caused by channel rot. If it's PVC the roots may have cracked the pipes themselves. Any soil or yard debris that may have originated in your yard can be snaked or jetted if the the lines are otherwise undamaged.

I just moved into a rent house in August and it’s in an actual neighborhood. Like 10 ft between houses and what not.
Dd you just move from a deserted island to this rent house?
