Lol you are right - a few years ago this happened at CC’s coffee - only four cars kept up the chain - the last person who got his coffee free was actually pretty grumpy about it and peeled out

I don’t get this being a “pay it forward” scenario when it turns into a gamble. Whole thing is stupid. If you want to help someone out, pay for their food, but keeping it going as a chain seems to defeat the purpose.
