Am I a bad person?

I have been talking with this single white female who has two kids that are 5 and not even a years old (5 year old is female and the other male).
Problem is the boy is so damn ugly I cant stand to look at him. I dont even wish to hold him. He looks mildly retarded but he isnt. He is just hard on the eyes. There is no medical problem with the child at all. Normal except for his face.
So, I have stopped talking to her. She doesnt know why and I cant bare to tell her that her child looks like his face is a pile of mashed potatoes.
Kid is good natured and would do anything to help him, but only at a distance.
Im really not a bad dude and feel horrible about it. It isnt hate but just cant shake the potato face.
Anyways, downvote away. Id show a picture but then one of you baws would rat me out.

I am not being ugly. I love the kid and would help him and watched him regularly. Never harmed him and was kind. But, you just have no idea. Never seen anything like it. Sure, Im definitely not easy on the eyes, but this poor kid was born with the worse genetic makeup I have ever seen.
Teeth, eyes, shape of his head, hair, proportion to his body. His smile.

I get it. My second son was a an ugly baby. He had a cone head and Oscar the Grouch eyebrows. His head finally became round at 3 years old and hia mom manicures his brow sp they can get cuter as they get older.

I’m sure if you confided your inner child’s feelings to the mother that she’d be understanding and make some reasonable accommodations so you two could maintain a relationship with her but avoid seeing her son.
Maybe a toddler kennel for Elephant Boy or the like.
