I know what was implied and don't need your backwards arse line of thinking to form my own opinion. Saying someone deserved to die is pretty cut and dry to me.

With blacks being a hot button topic nationwide, especially blacks dying at the hands of cops do you think these officers set out to shoot a black? Do they have a history of gunning down blacks? Does BRPD as a whole make it a point to gun down blacks when the opportunity arises?

Well congrats on making up your own meanings for words. The guy deserved to die for his actions. You resist with a weapon on you after already being tased, and that's just the way it is. Doesn't make it the best possible outcome.

I mean, its truly insane that people repeatedly say he's a great guy who caused no harm. He was a registered sex offender with domestic abuse and battery convictions.

Their culture views those things differently. They don't think that means he's a bad person, they usually think it was someone else's fault.

Look, he's a shitty guy no doubt. But the sex offender thing is being overblown. Carnal knowledge means there was consent, and after some googling, it's the same thing Jeremy Hill pleaded to. I'm not taking up for this guy who is a complete piece of shite, but carbal knowledge is not the same as being a pedo. Which many of us have said many times in defense of Hill.

Lawyer says him having a gun is irrelevant....lulzzzz

That is ridiculous. It isn't irrelevant, but its presence doesn't automatically indict Sterling either. If a gun became visible during the "struggle", even if it just fell out of his pocket, the situation went from 0-100. Hopefully there is another angle of the video because the officers seem to see the gun, tell him not to reach for it, and after a few seconds shoot him. It is plausible that the gun fell from his pocket and any movements he made were construed as an attempt to get the gun, hence the deadly force. That would be a perfect example of a tragic ending to an understandable situation. The cop may have feared for his life and unfortunately the intent of Sterling is irrelevant because they don't have the luxury of waiting to find out. That sucks and makes me question what, if anything, can be done to avoid situations like that.

When they were yelling at him to get on the ground and he wasn't listening, they should have tased the shite of him right there.

According to the report, they tased him first to no avail.

ITT it has been suggested that the officers receive a promotion.

As long as convicted felons that are illegally carrying resist arrest, nothing will change. You're worrying about the wrong change.

The general feeling in the black community towards anything is shitty. They murder each other and no fricks are givin. They hate Cane's managers. They hate getting an education.

Hill was a HS senior. This guy was 25...

Not saying he raped a toddler, but its a bit different.

And the the other charges still stand, like Domestic Abuse convictions?

I have no clue if this was a good shoot, my point was that the white knighting for this POS is blowing my fricking mind.

I'm not sure I've ever made a single post about Trump, so it would appear you haven't actually read them.

Cops are gonna get off here and they probably should. Even if he didn't go for the gun, all they need is to think that he was reaching for it. Considering all the other factors with tazing him, and him threatening others, etc, there's no way this will be viewed as murder. BR about to be OOC.
