Alternative Route to avoid Lake Charles Death Bridge(s)

F*ck this.

What the f*ck is this?
Hate the Lake Charles I-10 Calcasieu Bridge? You do have options, and it's not limited to the almost as sh*tty 210 Video Game Bridge.
You can take LA 378 and US 171, which have three bridges, but none of them are high as f*ck and won't take years off your life. Also, it only takes 21 more minutes than if you used I-10. Worth it.
From Houston: I-10 to Lake Charles, exit 27 (Westlake LA 378), LA 378 North to US 171 South, US 171 South to I-10 East.
From Lafayette: I-10 to Lake Charles, exit 33 (US 171 DeRidder), US 171 North to LA 378 South, LA 378 South to I-10 West.

The lake charles loop is really nice and the bridge isn't that tall or dangerous. I don't get the problem, there isn't that much traffic..

Is this a joke or serious?

I've always wondered what the hell the people who designed that bridge were thinking...
Probably something like:
"Hey, let's make em drive up the side of a fricking pyramid."
"Like a small pyramid?"
"frick no, like some Giza type shite"

Quit being a baby back bitch. There is nothing wrong with the 210 bridge.
You are dead arse right about the I-10 bridge though. That is a death trap. But your still a bitch for complaining about it.

Go to the rainbow bridge in Port Arthur then get back to me

140 Feet isn't that high?

Those are nothing compared to that old bridge in Port Arthur or even the old Huey P. Long bridge with the train tracks in the middle.
Especially the 210 bridge--not bad at all.

First time I went over the 210 bridge was at night heading west. I wasn't exopecting the curve.

I like the design of the railings on the I-10 bridge in Lake Charles.

Some people are scared of bridges. In San Fransico there are people who actually run businesses driving people's cars across the GG bridge so they can get to and from work.

Theres one like that in Shreveport.
