It's definitely a terrible strategy long term because she will lose to the "trolls" as people actually realize she's just not all that funny. But short term, she'll get views of her special and sell tickets to shows from "supporters"

A couple of years ago, I kind of liked her comedy. But, it's literally the same thing over and over. She jokes about being a whore over and over. It's really not that funny. But good for her. She is making bank.

I'm not one of those "elbows too bony, 2/10 WNB" types, nor do I act like my wife is an OT10 or anything, but I never thought Schumer was attractive in the least.
