Because black people have a crime problem. 13% of the population committing 50% of the murders. If you want to really dig into the numbers it’s really young black males ages 15-30. That’s like 2% of the population.
When you have 2% of the population making normal honest life difficult you have a fricking problem.
Twice as many white people are killed by black people than blacks by whites. Where is the equity there? By your definition that’s racist.

If that was my daughter, I’d be finding multiple spots about a tenth of a mile from each entrance to the courthouse and be ready to go for when this shithead is arraigned. No jury would convict the dad if that happens. Though I’m sure the police would be monitoring her family in expectation of that, though. No fricking way I wouldn’t try, though. I’d feel like I lost everything at that point.

That’s not even close. Those are arrest numbers. Only 40% of homicides in New Orleans get solved. Not sure on BR.
I remember a 17 year old black male was shot at a party with 30 people and not a one came forward to ID a shooter. That case is unsolved and not in the statics. Plenty more.

33-37s rapid gunfire (a dozen or so shots or 5/6 shots plus echos, 1 or 2 weapons?)

If it was the most likely scenario…a thrill seeker using the train stop as an ambush point…seems like it would have to be someone intimately aware of the area (the stop, regular train schedule, pole for cover, etc.)
Likely staked out the area for several hours waiting for the fortuitous moment to strike when a car got caught by a train.
If, he’s local, he could have walked to the train stop.
If he’s not local but familiar with the area, he must have parked his vehicle in a non conspicuous area such as a nearby parking lot. Would probably stand out like a sore thumb in the surveillance photos of nearby businesses as the only person getting into a parked at 1:30 in the morning on a weekday.
