Without a doubt the passenger side window is busted and accounts for most of the glass on the ground.

They almost never act alone. I'd bet there was a few.

I think this was a couple of juveniles. I'd guess two perps and they are both like 15. Would also explain them not knowing what to do when the victim didn't comply so they squeezed an entire mag at her. It would be sad if we caught them and they were out in a few years too.

There are cameras on red lights and cameras on businesses all up and down these streets.

If that happened you would have a description out of the second vehicle by now. Think of Shunick or the recent girl in Memphis. Not a lot of cars on the road at 2 am. They would have it narrowed down to a few possibilities by now.

Bullet probably went through the driver side window and the passenger window. We know the shooter was on the driver side of the car because all the shell casings are on the elevated median.

Also keep In mind as the back wheels rolled up on the curb at different times at different angles as the car came to a stop it could have forced the front wheels to turn. Does not mean a person turned the wheel.

So they may or many not be determinative.

Best bet is dna or prints off the shell casings.

I agree or on the vehicle. Maybe they already have a fingerprint match and are trying to find him. The police are very quiet. You wouldn’t want to announce because that makes him much harder to find or it could be a juvenile. Plus they don’t want the dad or family members to form a posse and try to find him themselves in the hoods. You’re gonna have more dead bodies other than the killer as a result. I don’t believe this guy is a unknown criminal. This guys fingerprints are in the databases.

I've seen videos of two thugs in a vehicle carjacking someone.

Two thugs stop their car, armed passenger gets out and steals the victim's car. Both thugs drive off separately.

Is it possible the tires squealing was the get away vehicle? (Shooter just gets back in the passenger seat and they floor it.)
Well, frankly pulling up in a get away car and doing a carjacking by ones lonesome would be quite the conundrum.

But yeah, they work in teams. And they like to do it from vehicles and not on foot. The reason being if you're after cars, you need to be where cars are, and the best way to be inconspicuous amongst cars is to be in one.

And it makes sense to have a get away vehicle. The reason the get away guy hangs around is because if it goes sideways you don't want to leave him behind. He'll snitch in about 10 minutes.

I’m the one that posted that and we still don’t “know” anything. That’s why I said it was busted and not shot. Could have been shots. Could have been for another reason.

This is what I think as well, and it’s why I think one of them will squeal if this story gets big enough and the reward is huge. These fricks are probably shitting their pants right now and they probably made a bunch of mistakes dumping the gun. There is no water around so I think the gun is somewhere around there and whoever talks is gunna spill the beans on where it is.

Yeah depending on the age, juvenile life means they’ll be released at 21 years of age in Louisiana. Now if they’re 17 years old, Hillar Moore’s office could decide to try the perp/s as adults.

I don't know man. There is a different breed of criminal running around. They are more ruthless than normal, if that makes any sense.

Does it matter?

They need to hang all the same. I don’t care if they are juveniles.

I hope street justice finds them before the cops can.

A motive would sit better.

I was hoping this was just a carjacking gone wrong, but I'm afraid these little bastards are lawless enough to just randomly kill people for sport.

Are there any theories that can be made that doesn't involve attempted car jacking?

If you sell yourself on one theory it can lead to maybe overlooking things that could fit into another theory that could lead to something else.

I just came across this site, some of you probably have seen it, but it shows what areas of BR has more crimes and gives a grade. For murders the grade is F. That's pathetic, but its interesting to see this map.

Not sure if you saw/heard this yet
https://www.wbrz.com/news/nearby-camera-captured-audio-of-lsu-student-s-killing-about-a-dozen-gunshots-heard-in-new-recording/

It’s a recording of the gunshots and the train. The image says file photo. Do they have footage or just sound recording? My guess is actual footage and they aren’t releasing it?? Either way, is that her car waiting at the tracks in the still photo?

And not one single person of note has lost their job over this, even after the police union ran the Enter At Your Own Risk embarrassing billboard 2 yrs ago. If anything, Paul and Broome have become more powerful and less competent with these 21st policing techniques.

The fact the squeezing of the tires happened last was probably as the car looped around and was turning. She was probably already hit at that point. It does not mean it was not thrown in reverse and accelerated straight backward without squeeling tires.

Go try it in an empty parking lot. Stab the gas and cut the wheel hard and tires wheel squeal.

Just speculation.

Cops should know if car was in reverse or not when they found it unless there was sloppy police work.

I’m not saying you’re right or wrong, throwing different ideas around is not a bad thing.

But that looks like a Chevrolet Equinox, and if it is those vehicles are front wheel drive. Stomping it in reverse would not make the tires squeal nearly as easily as they would in a rear wheel drive vehicle.

Makes me think she may have stomped it as she was moving forward and turning around or there may have been another vehicle.

As you are though, I’m just speculating
