There is absolutely nothing that can be done to fix BR, or the rest of this country, unless you have a time machine hidden away. Outside of that, it’s just going to progressively get worse and worse until one day people will not even be able to imagine what it must have been like to live in a safe and prosperous society. It is what it is.
Unfortunately I think you are correct.
The media and corporate America are dead set on the false narrative that police are the problem. Anyone with the means to do so is going to move out of these cities. Just look at Detroit. Nothing is saving Detroit. It’s a dead city that will never be what it was. We can easily admit that but it’s harder for us to admit it in the cities that we live in.
I don’t see how it gets turned around. Once the voting population crosses a threshold it’s over. Black people are never going to vote for conservative ideas in our lifetimes.

BRPD, you absolutely suck and it's laid bare for the world to see with this case.
Not really sure what you want them to do. A “witness” saying two black males in hoodies in the hood does nothing. They have virtually nothing to work with.
Murphy Paul is atrocious, but the officers themselves cannot solve a case with zero leads.

Is the Tennessee game scheduled for late morning for safety? If enough games had to be scheduled for a safer time, would the loss in revenue to the business men of BR get their attention and force changes in policing?
Good Lord

I have a bad feeling we are going to be seeing this case on the network crime shows in the coming years asking if anyone has information to come forward
I’ll get downvoted to hell, but outside of a miracle or BRPD having evidence that hasn’t been disclosed, this is destined to be a cold case.

But if they were a pro-active, well trained and had a pulse with the community than they could lean on a CI's find out what the streets are saying. Somebody knows something and the police could be greasing palms to get that info.
Maybe I just read too many crime novels.
Homicide investigations aren’t easy and Paul has absolutely decimated BRPD. Bad combination.

While listening to Culotta, Katie stated that the FBI investigators believe that this may be the work of a serial killer and not gang violence.
The combination in lack of motive and silence in the streets make this theory plausible.

The answer is they think they will benefit from it. And it will be that alliance between corporate America and the left is where they think such benefits will sprout from.
The only way to stop it is to make it costly, not beneficial.
- Haven't the biggest financial institutions greatly benefitted from government, prompted by the left?
- Haven't some automakers benefitted greatly from their alliance with the left?
- Airlines?
- municipal governments and their municipal bonds?
- corporate farmers at the cost of non-corporate farmers?
- is not shipping is getting government subsidies, from the left, for ever worsening supply lines?
- all partisian green energy providers?
- the O&G industry always seems to reap bigger profits when democrats are in charge.
- and then there are the unions, from garbage to industrial
These corporations don't mind getting bad mouthed at times. That's the price to pay for subsidies, bail outs, and under the table deals that the left will charge them for being able to use them as the anvil.

No. But to be honest with you, that widespread perception may not be all that far off down the line. People aren't afraid to go to Athens, Oxford, Starkville, or Knoxville. They very well could become more afraid to come here.
I think it's going to become a real problem.

Bottom line is that LSU (Tate) needs to sit down with elected officials and paint the bleak picture if something isn't done immediately.
Unfortunately, he's not going to go against the authorities that placed him where he is... even if it means more people are murdered. Sad really.
Louisiana desperately needs common sense back in the governorship.

It doesn’t matter if he did.
None of the people in charge understand what is necessary to stop this problem. They still think these criminals just need more love, more government programs, and are just products of a racist society.

That's just it though. What does he really care? He's going to ride this job for 4-5 years and then move back up to some academic hamlet up northeast or some shite.
Meanwhile, there's real people with money here who pull all the strings of that school who are just sitting on their hands.
Every day I'm getting madder and madder. These motherfrickers.

This part is true. They ARE products of a racist society. Just not the one that they trumpet in the MSM.
If one has a strong upbringing, then they can overcome the minor societal influence. These 'people' do not have that.

In short, the only way this is probably getting solved is if somebody in these guys lives rats them out...
Only way it's going to happen. The reward is $50K. Let that get up to 100, 200, 250K and see who can keep their mouth shut.

I have zero confidence of this. The entire department seems to be run by clowns. Honestly they'd have a better chance begging LSP or the EBRPSO for help. I'm pretty sure all the decent detectives BRPD had have either bolted or are just keeping their head down until they get their pension.
Also, Walk-Ons in Gonzales is having a fundraiser Oct 6. Please please please make plans to buy something that day. There's nothing that's gonna turn up the heat on these murdering assholes than more and more money.

Tate is a HUGE believer in CRT.
SWB and PM are a direct result of this philosophy.
Everything that is happening is exactly what CRT promotes. You have a complete breakdown of the family unit and society as a whole. No more adequate policing, no moral fabric, etc.
This is what they wanted. Why would he be sitting down with these people and asking them to do something different?!?

I think a dip in enrollment might get their attention. But they honestly might not give a shite. I could just as easily see that happening as well.

Follow the money.
COVID uncovered a lot of this....IF you were paying attention. These corps are bought and paid for. There is another entity outside the US that is working in concert with these corps/MSM/Leftists/Pols in DC (Both sides).
The divide is working, and unfortunately victims like this young lady are a result. This is now a daily occurrence in this country. Our cities are turning into third world war zones. All by design.

Lol, just five or so years ago LSU was lobbying to be incorporated into BR because they were helping to fight St. George!
They aren’t going to demand anything from the mayor. They are all allies politically.
You aren’t going to see LSU painting any pictures.
