That's a lot of meals for that gator. By the size of that python, that battle could have gone either way.

Looks like the head and a lot of the tail were already chewed off. Also the python looks bloated AF. Probably been dead for a couple of days. I wouldn't doubt if the snake was kill by a Florida baw a couple of days earlier.

My guess would be that the python likely had just eaten before it was killed by the gator. That also would make it harder for the python to fight back. I actually think that a python that size could squeeze that gator out, but not after it had just eaten.
