Global warming has turned alligators against us. I've been saying this for years.

They really are a misunderstood breed.

They are sweet and loving.

It's not the breed it's the owners.

It's the way they were raised to fight.

Poodles and labs have more bites recorded on record.

They aren't all bad. It's they way they are raised.

I grew up swimming and skiing in the canals and ponds during the summer where I caught alligators in the fall. Never had a problem and wasn't scared. They generally stay away unless you entice them with food.

Alligators that are not hungry, won't really go after people. Those raise on farms know that humans feed them, so they're nog going to 'attack' them.....

I will bet you $5 that if you jump into a pond of gators on a gator farm they will see you as food. That is why you aren't suppose to feed them in the wild.

Yea jumping is different.

In none of those pictures are the people a 'threat' to the gators.
You can tell those are the people that have feed them their whole lives, so their almost like pets

My father-in-law in the 1950's in Oklahoma saved up his money and as a 10 year old ordered an alligator in mail. When his mom saw what he was keeping in the bathtub she was understandably pissed.

Wow, dumb shite being spewed everywhere...

A lot of people here grew up in South LA and did the same thing as you (including me). Hell we used to hook the smaller ones on fishing lines and slap them in the back when we got them close to the boat. But that is a lot different than this

Also

This is completely the opposite in most cases. Alligators are extremely stupid, and for the most part the ones that are fed regularly by humans associate humans with food. If they are hungry and they see a human they will think "food" and bite. They may not eat you whole, but they may think you are food at first.

Now the part about them not attacking when they aren't hungry is mostly true, unless they are protecting territory, but the ones in the pic clearly are not. Alligators don't need to eat very often, so as long as you feed them when you are supposed to their whole lives, you could probably have a farm like this that is relatively safe, not that I would try it...

Alligators must have not been ornery back in the day because they medulla oblongata wasn't as large as it is today.
