Your numbers are way off. It’s 125 gun related deaths every day which equates to around 70 per day by suicide. It also includes accidental discharges.
There were 24,849 murders in 2022
There were 22,830 murders in 2023
The CDC hadn’t posted the 2024 numbers yet, but they were down even further than 2023 (between 10% and 16%) CDC.gov
So total murders from all sources are around half of your number.

BRPD knows who did it.
I think they just didn’t want to go after it.
It was politically hot, and they put the B squad on the case or didn’t formally investigate at all.
It’s an utter travesty what happened to that poor girl.
Hopefully her family gets some justice or closure some day.

I’m not poking directly at you but you’re the first to mention this in this thread. Others have stated this as fact in other threads. However, my problem with this response is if this were the case why wouldn’t have BRPD or her family have released anything by now.
The post that sticks out in my mind is someone confidently said the “killer no longer walks among the living” or some BS but has no info to back that up.
I would like to think if this were the case some official would’ve said so by now.
