Legend's or whatever it was called in late 1970s was where my dad bought me my 1st legal drink on my 18th birthday.

I was today years old when i discovered that Studebakers and Ocean Club were the same geographic location… i was too young to enter either place, but heard all about them both over the years .

What about Uncle Larry's , Sharky's Reef and Last Stop lounge?

Moby’s, Nick’s in Metairie, I still remember getting like 10 jello shots for like a dollar in the early 90’s

Their radio ads on B97 still echo in my brain : “I’ll see ya there ! I’ll make ya famous !!” ..or as that ad for Kenny’s Key West ? Does it matter ??

From dusk till dawn at Southside,
The party’s on at Southside.”
Eating barbecue chicken while most people were attending mass on Sunday morning didn’t happen often, but it did happen.

I would start the night and see the dawn at the Ship's Wheel. But in between not telling where I would go.

Fat City had a bunch.
You had Escapades that was 24 hours not far from there. Hammerheads, Kenny’s, Sharkeys
I’ll throw in Neo Beach on the Lakefront (eventually changed to Jagers) and then Spinnakers. Years later Neo Beach reopened in a smaller space in West End.
You also had the Palladium that was originally the place with the plane in it:

That place would have to come up to be cheesy... I've been there I think twice, both times during Mardi Gras...had my head on a swivel.. I read that a guy tried to rob the place and one of the customers pulled out a gun and started shooting at the guy in the bar and continued outside.

What was the name of the country & western bar/club on Williams by West Esplanade in the 90’s?
I used to like to go see the kickboxing there.
I know that's Kenner and not Metairie, but I’m assuming its ok to bend the rules of this thread to get an answer.
Has anyone mentioned the Daquiris ‘n Creams on West Esplanade at Transcontinental yet? That was ground zero for Metairie cheese bars in the 90’s and early 2000’s outside of Fat City.
