- Siegen Lane southbound from Airline.
- Light at Rieger Road turns green.
- Light on north side of I-10 (200 feet away) stays red for 2 minutes.
- Light on north side of I-10 finally turns green.
- Light at Rieger Road turns red 5 seconds later.
- Move 5 feet in an entire light cycle.
- Traffic backed up from I-10 to Airline.
- Traffic south of I-10 to Perkins looks like the rapture happened and I got left behind.
- MOVEBR stacked.
- Everyone else fricked.

Whichever way you’re going, it’s the wrong direction.

Fred Raiford said you wouldn’t get to your destination faster, but you would know how long it would take to get there.

I was excited a few years back when the local news was going to do a segment on the light timings.

They focused on the length of lights, citing one example, instead of the syncronization of lights.

Expect disappointment and you'll never be disappointed.

This morning the light at Siegen and Perkins was out.

That road is fricking cursed.

My friend has the theory that the lights are intentionally designed for least amount of efficiency. Thinks it is because someone wants to sell more lights or grow their department. Perkins for instance, is made impossible when it could be smooth sailing.

BR synchronized all their lights. Synchronized to ensure you stop at each one.

I think he’s correct.

There is a ton of money to be made installing lights, cameras and equipment over and over again.
