Sad day again fellas,
My golden retriever was spooked yesterday while my cousin sighted in his rifle. Ran away from home. Which we live way back in the woods. After looking for four hours I drove up on a scene of people with flash lights looking in a ditch. Just knew already what happened, but pulled up asked. A crying lady said she hit a dog but they couldn’t find him. I drove up to the next driveway parked my truck and walked over to them but on the other side of the street and actually walked right up on my dog in the ditch. He was still alive at that point but in bad bad shape. Died in my lap down in the ditch. Rest easy my boy-

As a dog lover that has lost many over the years, I feel your pain. Sorry for your loss.

That said, you could have left out the details.

Get new material.

Nymeria is treated very well, our lives and activities outside of work involve things where she can participate.

From stores we visit, etc.

So take your angry little weak insecure man act somewheres and go get triggered again by another man playing dress up.

Oh man I’m so sorry. There’s a reason they call them mans best friend. I hope you recover swiftly.

My most sincere condolences. It is amazing you were able to be there for those final moments with your pooch. Hoping that lady doesn’t beat herself up over this. RIP good boy

That the woman who hit your dog was enough of a mensch to stop and try to find him, and that other people tried to help is the only positive from this. Without her stopping, well, you know.

Does anyone make ear 'plugs' for dogs to get them through fireworks? If they don't, they should.

Sorry for your loss.
Lost ours a few months ago. The pain is real and the only thing that heals it is time.

He should’ve been on a leash unfortunately or inside during that. Sad news

Don’t be a douche. Good and obedient dogs are seldomly on leashes.
