I can somewhat agree in OLDER cases that have been on death row for decades. There is a relatively SMALL chance the wrong person was convicted.

However, with modern forensics and the likelihood of camera or DNA evidence, not just a “he said she said we think”, the chance of wrongfully convicting someone to death is so minuscule, I’m perfectly fine accepting the 0.000001% chance fricked up.

If you catch the death penalty today, there are no “welllll maybe it wasn’t him”. As such, frick the decades waiting and appeals. Give them a year to appeal and on the 366 (367th on leap years) dump a nice sized piece of lead into their skull.
