Damn. 100 people drinking ~a six pack each in a couple of hours. DWI patrol finna eat.
12oz draft beer goes down pretty quickly.

Maybe a signature drink, vodka or gin, for non-wine/beer drinkers. Especially women. Nothing worse than a wedding with nothing to drink.

If it's a mix between heavy and light drinkers for 3 hours figure 50 people/keg.
Personally I would do 4 Kegs and 60-70 bottles of wine. Would be cheaper too.

Damn son. Not all wine drinkers are finishing bottles. And don't get Chardonnay... no one really enjoys drinking that crap.
Depending on the location/time of the reception, I would get
20-30 bottles of Cabernet
30-40 bottles of Pino Gri
min 3 kegs Grooms preference.

what about whiskey? hard liquor?

I'm cancelling my RSVP if real liquor isn't there. I didn't know this was going to be a kegger.

Cans or bottle are so much easier to deal with than a keg imo. And it sucks you aren't having liquor.

We got the full bar. Don't be a cheap bastard. If you wanna save money on the wedding, don't do it on the alcohol.
I agree with this. Cut the open bar from three hours to two hours if you want to save money but hard liquor is a must, especially for your more mature guests who don't guzzle beer like a frat boy.

I hope you invited Jesus to the wedding... You will need some water/wine magic happening for sure

100x this. 2 things you don't skimp on: alcohol and food. full bar and plenty of food.

Not a response yet in over 4 hours.......you know you need liquor
Why are you not doing hard alcohol? Serious question.....never been to a reception that didn't have full bar.....if not that then no booze at all.

6 beers a person for the 100 beer drinkers including spillage.
unless a stripper jumps out of the cake, I can't see an average of 6 per.
