In the southern part of Texas
In the town of San antone
There’s a fortress all in ruins
That the weeds have overgrown

But, we have it now. The Alamo, making the Bouie knife famous. And screw Santa Ana.

Crazy, seems like it should be longer. Also I watched a show called Texas Rising which was good and started with the Alamo falling

Rumor was the reason the Alamo fell is because it was defended by Louisiana baws that moved there just to find a job

And now our country is being conquered without even a shot being fired. Depressing.

Yes sir. I relied on auto-correct on the U vs. W, but forgot that because I capitalized it, I wasn't getting any help. I'm a dumbass.

Had an Ancestor Die there. One of the Tennessee Volunteers... Andrew Nelson.

188 years ago Texas fought for Independence... May have to do it again.

I had seen it from afar for work several times but walked the grounds during the height of Covid and they weren’t letting anyone in the church which was a bummer

Sam Houston ordered an evacuation. Travis was insubordinate and got himself and his command killed
