This is a result of the FDA saying that candy flavored vape juices directly target underage vapers. Apparently kids don’t like mint or menthol.

ight teenagers in Wisconsin have been hospitalized with serious lung damage after vaping, according to health officials.
They would be perfectly well today had they used the tried and true method of cigs.

What exactly was the problem this is supposed to fix?

Tax revenue
Now they will tax vape products like they do cigs.

but the problem is that those vaping liquids can be laced with just about anything.
Thats like saying the problem with alcohol is that somebody could put a roofie in it

This is addressing the HUGE issue of them specifically marketing these products to CHILDREN and the absolute lack of oversight. These companies are trying to act as if its some safer solution to cigarettes and it in fact is not.

Vaping is douchey but far less unhealthy than cigs
This. I finally quit smoking cigs after buying a juul. But I still feel an inherent need to keep it low key.

Vaping in high school kids is way more widespread than smoking was back in the day.

You are really claimin that vaping is at least as dangerous as, if not more dangerous than, smoking cigarettes?
Please explain.

They can’t advertise all the fruity flavors because that’s targeting children
I am an old man and when I vaped I vaped fruity flavors. Every other vapong adult I knew did as well. So I beg to differ with your analysis.
This save the children nonsense is so fricking trite.

I guess the cartels will start a black market for vapes now.

Naw dude. The fruity flavors are just to get kids hooked. Everyone knows adults hate fruity flavors. We only want to vape the charcoal pine needle flavor.

That remains to be seen.
Natural tobacco out of a pipe or hemp papers is pretty smooth

I guess I never picked up on that marketing. In fact, I don't think I've seen any vape-related advertisements other than a few Juul ads where they talk about how they don't market to kids.
Yeah, they sell vape fluid with these sickly-sweet flavors, but I think that's more a matter of taste than age. The few times I've had to smell any of that stuff it's been coming from some douchecanoe well into his thirties with a big, fancy vaporizer from a vape shop (not a crappy little gas station Juul or whatever).
Just seems like we have much bigger fish to fry.

This. Fck government over regulation on crap like this.
Still comical to me that they find it a needed law that I have to enter two different places to buy beer/wine vs liquor.
