this was the first thing that came to my mind on this story was what a misleading headline it was. 18 is technically still a teen but they use the word teen to incite worse feelings.

If it was an actual rape, he's a TPOS who deserves everything he's about to get. If it was an ambiguous situation, they're very easy for a guy to avoid: Don't hook up with randoms when one or both of you are drunk. Easy Peasy.
