I think the majority have moved on from that position.

It's the governments creation. Destroy the black family via drugs and economic depravity while maintaining the cycle through lack of education. Everything you see in the black community can be traced to this.

Focus on family and education. That is all the poor in this country need to do and their problems fix themselves in a few generations.

Congrats now tell me how segregation stopped your grandfather and father from buying a house in a certain area because of their skin color.

i don't really think it matters, but none were treated that well. again, we interned japanese in the 40s

the chinese got it really bad. they were by and large enslaved when we built the railroads.

the problem with asians is they are #1 in all sorts of social factors (even over white people) despite the major discrimination

hell they STILL face discrimination, even in liberal areas like academia. asian admissions are graded on a curve...a tough one

See this is why I can't talk to your dumb arse. What frick does it matter if they were sold by other blacks. Does that constitute the treatment blacks received in this country. Years later after slavery was abolished. You are literally too fricking stupid to talk to.

Chinese and Japanese both faced this sort of segregation in the west. that's why "little Tokyo" and "Chinatown" emerged as memes

That was horrible, unacceptable. With that said, I don't see how that is an excuse for failing schools in 2015-16. Blue Ribbon schools, perhaps. Failing? no.

The education system for starters but I would say the entire American system. Just look at our history From inception to now. Even the programs designed to aid black Americans comes from the pov that they're inferior.

that's called the subtle bigotry of lowered expectations and its' a liberal meme

how do you suggest programs to aid black americans without this being implicit in aid?

No but you could get rid of that smug attitude as if blacks are solely responsible for the position they are in and whites built their own wealth fair and square. White people as whole have prospered in this country by standing on the necks of every other race from native americans, asains, africans, mexicans, and etc etc.

I'm still a bit fuzzy on how this has led to the complete and utter breakdown of the black family, widespread drug addiction, and the over 70% of children being born to unwed mothers. All of these things have far more to do with the failing schools in AL. All of them also have approximately 0 to do with persecution of the black race by anyone other than itself.

we have come along way since the days of slavery. I don't know anyone who says slavery was a good thing.

Tell me exactly how it has affected your life...keep in mind had your people not sold your ancestors into slavery you would most likely be living in Africa. I wonder if you would be better off...what do you think?
