If you read the new order, literally nothing has changed in it from her last order. This is simply political because of the pressure being placed by other states issuing orders.

Read the order before you panic...

But who's going to be dumb enough to get pulled over and not say they're going for groceries or food or medicine?

Who's panicking?

I've been staying at home except for work and shopping for a month.

Hell if I know. Have no idea how they will enforce it.

Your state has been ignoring this for a long time. It’s going to get worse.

The real models are and have been 1000% accurate. The test number results are completely meaningless, here in Mobile we had hospitals filling up weeks before we had a single positive case. The hospitalization will show u where the problems are.

The accurate models predicted that we would have infection rate from 1/3 to 2/3 of the population as a whole and a fatality rate of 250-500k. They have been so accurate that the states now refuse to release the hospitalization rates.

The rates will double every 2-3 days until May at least. Do the Math

I wouldn't call 69 positives out of 149,000 I real threat.
That's .05% of the county's population.
(3) recorded deaths
Mobile is a small-town in regards to gossip and fear-mongering and I haven't heard any of my contacts wives in health-care freaking out on the Hill, nor have I seen any refrigerated trucks parked behind Radney's, Hughes, or otherwise.

In what sense? We've been shut down the better part of three weeks. The number of confirmed cases is climbing modestly, but so are recoveries (which never gets reported or included in the numbers). Nothing I am hearing suggests that hospitals are being overwhelmed.

I just hope there is an end game. Is the hysteria going to start anew when we open back up and some cases pop up?

The mass unemployment from these reckless decisions will kill far more than coronavirus. I'm sure the models suggest that millions are about to die but they've yet to be even remotely accurate.

How do people like you still don't understand this? It has to do more with resources. If everything was still running as usual, there would be a lot more people in need of hospital care.. And there is only so much space in hospitals. Then the death rate would be even higher.

What actual changes are being made after her last update to the updated order? I'm guessing there aren't many.

Ivey heard the LSU Football team was headed to Alabama again and didn't want another defeat on her watch.

Yep. In reading the news release, IT IS THE SAME DAMN THING WE HAVE BEEN DOING.
Yet another "How many different times can we say and do the same thing" and "How can we get more press conferences".
Ivey, too, doesn't want to be the one who is seen as not doing enough.

Just gonna cruise right past my point? You created a straw man implying that I think everything should run as usual.

Unemployment and a multi-year recession is also a major health risk. But the people who will die from either suicide or homelessness or lack of money to get proper health care will be ignored by the coronavirus preppers. Their deaths don't matter only the ones who die from coronavirus.

Projected (IMHE which is used by the White House) vs Actual - not even close to accurate.
