THEN he cut tens of millions of dollars of state funded things and refused to raise minimum wage...and proceeded to give his entire staff 80% raises (70k raises on top of 90k salary)

Actually, this all came about because he was bullying the state leg to raise taxes in order to cover the budget shortfall. They had all run on low taxes, so they bucked it. Once he showed he was a tax & spender and not a fiscal conservative willing to cut programs, the powers that be laid the smackdown on him. Now, we need to figure out if they did it honestly. The timing sure is suspect.

But AL governors generally do three terms. Two in the gov's mansion and one in the pen.

Because Bentley fired the head of the AL Law Enforcement Agency for misuse of funds and the dude went down swinging. He is the one that gave up the incriminating recording, which seemed to have been some kind of insurance policy he was keeping. You can't make this shite up.
