Wait until you find out that there's an even longer border to the north that people walk, swim, and bushwhack across. A border that actual terrorists crossed to do actual acts of terrorism to Americans on American soil.

Do you really want to go there? Do you know the reason ISIS was even created? A Republican president decided to go into Iraq, went after Saddam which created an unstabilized country that allowed ISIS to form.

I'm pretty liberal but there's 38,000,000 people in Afghanistan. I can only speculate that a lot of young religious people with no hope just witnessed the Taliban become equals with the world superpower.
It's gotta be a huge recruiting tool.
Let's hope that greed and self-interest takes over the Taliban and they focus on being dictators of a sizable country with natural resources and lots of opium to tax. It's Islam, so I won't hold out hope.
