So, I did t say kick off. I just said charge more. It makes sense.
Crush them how?
It is literally tied directly to costs.
Why should I pay as much as a body builder.

Or your know they could take a few rows out and have more than 4” between seats

This is not an effort to help with the health of the country. That’s not why the airlines are in business.

All you people saying "weight is weight" and that's the end probably aren't dealing with attorneys on a daily basis who will just crush these airlines if they ever try this
Charging 'extra' for a 225 pound 'fatass' is the same as charging 'extra' for a 225 pound 'athlete'. It is still 225 pounds.
The aircraft can't tell the difference. That is what this is about. The actual plane. Not if someone fits in the seat or not.

Yeah. That’d be nice. But you will pay more as a result.

But muscle weighs more than fat!

They weighed us when we flew from San Juan to Tortola BVI. My wife tried to say the scale was off bc at home it’s whatever she claimed.

The plane doesn't care if you are 225 lbs of muscle or fat.... its weight.
As much as I want to shite on fat people, this is true. It won’t matter if you are 325 and look like you came off the biggest loser or 325 and look like Ronnie Coleman in his prime. Weight is weight.
That being said, they should charge extra if you can’t fit in your seat

This is about over-grossing an aircraft not if you spill into the seat next to you.
Really? No shite? I wonder if the two things might be related?

You realize that if you can put the armrest down and weigh tree fiddy you probably wouldn't have to buy an extra seat.... but the tree fiddy will cost more fuel...
Posted on 5/17/21 at 7:56 pm to deathvalleytiger10
I tell you what’s going to happen. They’re going to boot a nice normal family of four off the plane because they don’t want to hurt a fat couples feelings.

Spirit Airlines is in trouble

Who said anything about an armrest?
Show me a 350lb person that can sit in a seat without encroaching on the person beside them.

Because that is how some airlines charge for a 2nd seat.....

Lol, I don’t care what their policy is at present. I’m giving my opinion what should happen.
If you are too wide to keep yourself in the space you paid for, it’s time to buy an extra seat.
