re: Airlines lawyers; Passengers who pay for a window seat may not get a window with the seat

I thought “window seat” just meant you were not in the aisle or middle seat. But that it literally meant you had a window.
Like you are on the window side of the row.
Like you are on the window side of the row.

Why on earth would someone pay extra for the privilege of sitting next to a wall?
Window seats don’t fill up first. The window seat is only more expensive than the middle row seat. The aisle seat always fills up first.
I completely agree that the window seat doesn’t define the view rather than the location of the seat in any given row.
I was probably 10 years old when I wanted a widow seat to enjoy the view.
I never deliberately purchase a seat that is not on the aisle.

It is descriptive. To anyone other than an idiot, ( or paid airline lawyer) the description of a window is an opening, typically glass, which you can see out of. Not an F ing wall/
If I was a Judge, and some lawyer tried to tell me that crap, I'd sanction his arse for frivolous pleading.

Could you tell us about it? I’ve never flown that airline.

I would legitimately like to see how an airline would fare if they took out those extra rows so we weren’t crammed like sardines. Each aisle lined up with each window like in the earlier days of flying. I feel like they would be constantly booked up.
If they kept the prices the same they’d be booked up and bankrupt. If they raised the prices they’d be half empty and bankrupt.

Unfortunately it was shut down on Nov. 1 by Tripadvisor. They bought Seatguru in 2007 so that they could advertise on it for free. And then they didn't maintain it. It became unreliable and after complaints Tripadvisor decided to kill it. RIP, it was pretty useful it its day.
I've not tried any of these yet but the alternatives are supposedly:

Dumbest thing I've heard this week, and I've had a week so far...
You get to choose your seat on the diagram. There are other diagrams showing where the windows line up. Cross reference if you want.
As a frequent flyer I think of the "window" aisle as actually the "not middle outter aisle". I choose it some times so I can lean my head against the wall and sleep and not have someone on either side of me.
Besides there is nothing to see out that window anyway except three hours of clouds.
But the plaintiff lawyers know this, they are just searching for a good case to make a name for themselves.

Then they should be charging extra for wall seats that may, or may not, contain a window.
Correct - AFTER they pay the f*ck out to the plaintiffs
This is one reason why shite costs a lot. No one should be paid the frick out because they got a wall instead of a window. A very minor difference in cost is all that should be paid and the airline needs to either distinguish specific seats with walls vs windows for future or just call them all wall seats. Sue happy culture is a problem in America, much worse is the result of high payouts for bullshite.
