That's the second RLC bird down in a month. Third in a year.

There’s been a few more that hasn’t made the news.
They only make the news if coast guard is involved (people in the water that aren’t fished out quickly) or it’s in a public area with injuries.

Choppa, I'm guessing you are a A&P by the name. I wont even guess who you work for, but I have firsthand seen RLC's maintenance in person from a brief stint with a rotor repair company I worked for. Less than impressive. Using washers as weights on tips of 206s and 407s.

My wife’s cousin was onboard. He’s was/is a good dude. Hoping for the best, but not optimistic. It’s been 6 hours or so now.

If you took every helicopter operator who's had a accident out of service then nobody would have helicopters in the Gulf of Mexico last three crashes have been two by Rotorcraft and one by West Wind.
I was flying in to the USS Carl Vinson a couple weeks back for a day of training. The aircraft was a CV-22 Osprey. As we were landing, either the pilot wasn't paying attention, or someone on the deck wasn't, because suddenly we made a huge veer to port and for a few seconds all I could see looking to my left was water, no horizon, and in those few seconds I thought, "Yep, he's going to flip this and this is the moment when I meet my demise." The copter suddenly went to level and I looked out the starboard side and there was a second Osprey about 50' from ours rising up off the deck. Not sure who was at fault, but our pilot, a young kid of about 24 years old, I'd say, was like, "Sorry about that. Gotta' be more careful."

Needless to say, I wasn't thrilled when he was my pilot on the way back.

My wife was told that the helicopter has been found. No mention of passengers.

I’d assume if they found them all dead, they’d report it that way and not leave us wondering.

Praying he made it.

Cause was the pilot hooked the landing gear skid in the safety fence and basically flip the aircraft into the water

It’s the opposite unfortunately. Good news comes out first. Have to call off the search. Can’t say no survivors until family is notified after that’s confirmed.
