Alll?
Doubtful…some Jobs require human involvement in uncontrolled environments

My job is basically making sure the robots do their jobs. I think I’ll be fine.

Will they fight for 15?

While I disagree with the use of robots and AI in this way, this is highly misleading. Amazon is using robots to supplement the growth they’re going to see by 2033.
They're not firing 600,000 people. They’re not hiring 600,000 potential positions in the next 8 years

If AI and robotics takes all of our jobs, then where will these companies get their money?
Why would the “elite” need 8 billion people on the planet if they have AI robots doing all the work for them?
They’re going to kill us all.

Imagine trying to fight a Waffle House robot powered by AI and endless endurance.

2020 was an experiment on UBI and people being at home. How did that go?
Pretty good. The roads were clear, parks were clean, finally was able to take an alcoholic beverage home from the to-go bar. It wasn't doom and gloom for everybody. Essential workers like me had a great time in 2020.

Many more menial jobs and some heavy tech roles will slowly fade away, but beyond the tech not being much better than being able to pack boxes and review code, not many companies have the time or resources to flip a switch with AI replacements.
AI and Automation is going to gut Financial, Legal, IT, Healthcare, and tons of other industries and this isn't even taking into account blue collar plant/warehouse/factory type jobs. Its going to be brutal and its anywhere from 5 to 10 years away. I'd start preparing. I work in IT and know its coming so I will be impacted I'm not one of these people saying its not going to impact me because it absolutely is and I'm prepared for it.

Exactly. It’s like moving from an agrarian society to the Industrial Revolution. AI could eventually free people from having to trade most of their time just to survive, giving future generations the chance to focus on creativity, relationships, and real purpose.
It might take 500 to 1,000 years to get there, and it would require a complete rethink of how economies work. Maybe something like universal basic income or a system we can’t yet imagine. But the idea of humanity completely stepping off the rat race and living life on its own terms is an inspiring thought.

How will working be optional?

Not really though. Some percentage of people got something like 6k over the course of a year. Many got less, some got none.
Either way, what is going to be a viable alternative. I don't have a strong preference for UBI, I'm just not sure exactly what else is going to be on the table if we are staring down the barrel of nearly everyone being unemployable. I haven't really thought about this too much so I'm interested to hear alternatives.

We are also almost $40 trillion dollars in debt. Paying just adults in the US 1k a month would be around 80% of current tax revenue.

We'll pretend that eye roll doesn't tell us you're at least a little insecure about what you said after.
I come across people in IT who have no clue what AI is up to. You folks are definitely myopic about everything but your little slice of infrastructure or code.
The AI security and governance space is exploding with humans who will throttle legit companies' use of AI. They can't even figure out how to control what little they use now. And based on my annecdotal yet substantial experience, the way IT teams deploy AI currently is rife with errors.

We were supposed to be in flying cars and living on mars by now. In reality, we’re in Kia Sorentos and DSDL homes. My experience with AI is it’s still total dogshit at scale and would have to come a LONG way to completely replace a McDonald’s cashier or bank teller, much less an attorney

It's definitely already replaced the Taco Bell drive-thru order takers here. They are all AI now. I'd be willing to bet that what people think will happen in 5-10 years will take 30 years though.
