Terre d'Hermes
Tom Ford Extreme
I also have a massive bottle of DG the one, which is alright. It's really muted and inoffensive so you could probably bathe in it if you want.

Never use aftershave, and only use cologne once in a blue moon, so my scent is usually Irish Spring soap.
When I do use cologne, it's Drakkar Noir.

My scent is either deodorant or bath soap. Get occasional compliments from my wife and random people that tell me I smell good. I think cologne is for guys who either have a natural overwhelming stink to them or need a boost of false confidence...this ought to be fun!

there is always this dude
sure, centuries old product favored by the aristocracy is used primarily by beta males who would otherwise smell bad, right?

If I can smell your cologne just by being in your presence, frick you.
No smell is the right smell.
Clean yourself well with body wash, shampoo, etc. then wear deodorant. That's all you should do. Cologne was invented for a time when consistent bathing was not expected.

centuries old aristocracy didn't have deodorant technology and even they weren't expected to bathe thoroughly every day.
Its a pointless thing that gives people around you headaches. Sure, 1 person might say you smell good, but 50 others are thinking "frick, that smell is annoying".

I put people who wear cologne in the same bucket as people who walk around playing music through their cell phone speaker.
Sure, I can't hear it if I'm 20 feet away from you, but when I get close it makes me want to slit my own throat.

So you hate cologne, but undoubtedly use soap, shampoo, etc., which have artificial scents added to them. Got it.

You know damn well that my body wash and deodorant can't be smelled unless you stuck your head inside my shirt.
I work in conference rooms with colleagues constantly and the only time you ever smell a dude is when they have cologne on.
ETA:
Or if they're Iindian and eat curry constantly...which ironically is usually the person that tries to "mask" their smell with cologne.

Its arguably my biggest pet peeve
Cologne and perfume give me a fricking headache.
ETA:
Definitely my biggest "non-driving" pet peeve. That driving list is huge

A man needs a scent. Let 'em know the alpha dog is in the room.
