Couple of trees down on Hyacinth / Brame / Whitehaven area. Last one probably due to systemic racism.

you'll catch the bottom edge, but it shouldn't be too bad for too long...you're far enough south

I'm going to be travelling from Plaquemine to Denham in about a half hour. Am I going to catch hell or is this thing gonna be far enough in front of me?

I know one can’t blame the weather but this has been some ridiculous storms the past three days. Can’t remember three days in a row of violent thunderstorms randomly popping up.

in an hour the worst most intense stuff appears to be moving off fairly quickly, you'll catch some rain....but in an hour... it'll most likely be better

It got pretty serial here in Prairiville for a minute. I heard the wind rumble at the office. I've never heard that before and the only thing I've never been in is a tornado. I don't see any damage. There were some badass winds come through that's for sure

Or...if you have a rather German last name... We're family

No German last name, but if you are from there I'm quite sure you know my dad's side of the family. You probably know my mom's side too. She grew up in Maringouin and lived many years in Rosedale. Both of course went to Shady Grove. Mom is 72, dad would have been 79. How old are you?

Dad grew up about a mile or so before the gravel road where Sun oil was back in the day, where the whole Hoffman family lived.

You must have missed the one in 2015 (I think) that rammed Gold's Gym. That thing passed about 300 feet from our office and our building was shaking the whole time. Things went from nothing to something in a blink of an eye.
