Bogies could’ve continued to kill it if Mugsy and that other retard had any management skills whatsoever. It was clear that Freds was pulling more and more business and they kept running it into the ground.
That place is a cash cow with the right owner.

I knew a doc in NYC. He and 3 other docs bought a singles bar that was always packed - but the bar was losing money. They posted private detectives (posing as customers) to watch each cash register. After a long weekend, the detectives met with the owners. Detectives said, "We had a guy at all 5 cash registers, every last penny was rung up". One doc said, "I thought we only had 4 registers."
Turns out the bartenders had their own register that they rang up all the big cash tickets on. They hid it under the back bar, and brought it up whenever the owners weren't around (which was most of the time).

This was more on Mugsy than anyone else with his 90% ownership. Clayton was always pissed for very good reason.

I sat down with a bar owner years ago and the topic of accounting came up. He admitted to keeping 3 sets of books. The first was for tax purposes, the 2nd if he ever was audited and the IRS found hidden cash revenue, and the 3rd for what the place actually made.

Agreed. Some real frickery going on for a bar that seems like it never had a down season
It's pretty simple. Your employees will give your shite away and you will be broke if you don't keep up with it or don't have managers constantly monitoring it.

If they have a thousand people there for every hour they're open (and they have the big tejt outside so I would guess it's atleast close?) they only need an average ticket of about $14 to gross 250k in a day.
They aren't getting 1k people in there except at night.
I've been early because my buddies worked there. It could be all day and at most you had 10 people in there at once. Students are going to be in the move all day, not just sit at a tigerland bar unless they are working there.
Some of them rent it out to groups, usually from the away team. That gives them a spot to chill and drink before the game.

Damn Mugsy owned 90%?
Isn’t there a secretive third Bogies owner?
