After Bud Light's insane stunt of partnering with dAy OnE oF bEiNg A gIrL lunatic Dylan Mulvaney, outrage ensued and sales immediately started falling. But I don't think anyone could have predicted just how low they would go.

Bud Light is now officially the 14th most popular beer in America.

How it started…

How it’s going…

Yay. What’s funny is they made a mistake, which is fine. But once they doubled and tripled down on stupid and told their core customer base to frick off, it was done. They thought they were Teflon and they were very, very wrong apparently.

Especially in an industry where for all intents and purposes, the products are the same (or at least similar enough where finding a replacement to move on to is very easy).

This should be a lesson in how companies should handle, and not handle, woke bullshite. But we all know it won’t be.

Let this be a lesion to any company who is, or is considering pushing identity politics.

The "above the fray!" moderates will be on here soon to tell us that we are being ridiculous or that the boycott really hasn't had an effect.

It’s just such an easy product to cut out of your life and find a substitute. How many people really bought Bud Light because they just loved Bud Light? I doubt anyone goes back to them who stopped buying.

I absolutely love that a company bet on the ring horse. The horse runs the race, breaks its leg and then a couple weeks later the company bets on the horse with the broken leg to run again.

They shite the bed so freaking badly on this one.

And the worst part is that other companies can’t seem to learn from it and are trying to say hold my beer and watch this.

This is like marketing 101, if your product isnt unique, branding is everything. All the people saying it wouldn't last failed to realize how simple it is for people to grab a comparable case of beer 5 feet away.

And now, they have no reason to go back. Bud Light offers nothing, people just chose it out of habit and now that habit has changed.

AB will continue to hold out and rely on their other brands. Customers have to continue to inflict pain, including on the other AB brands.

People will argue this but especially with draft I can’t tell the difference. Blind taste test with BL, ML, CL and I’d fail every time

It’s fascinating. From their struggles to make a mark as a light beer in 1982 - all the way to becoming the biggest beer brand in the world.

And it’s all swiftly taken away by one completely moronic marketing retard.

Lib business schools will be never teach it or admit it, but it will go down as a perfect bookend for what woke ideology begets.
