The worst one I remember was me knowing a nurse in the hospital was killing people. I had to kill her before she killed anyone else. I killed her.
The silliest was one where I had to live in LSU's Memorial Tower for a year. Their were WWII pilots that lived there too. There was a man like Chang from the book Lost Horizon that hosted us.

His family is not keeping him alive for him they are doing it for themselves. Very selfish of them. Let him pass. Should have let him die a long time ago. It is about quality of life not quantity of years.

They actually did pull the breathing tube about a week before I woke up. Glad I wasn't awake for that.

Damn, you're resilient man. Glad you made it out. You sound like one of the exception cases when it comes to remembering things while in a coma. Maybe it's because you had an issue that didn't directly involve the brain or quickly affect it? That's crazy.

Probably. I think many if not most people that have a coma had a brain injury. I was mentally recovered in about a month.

Damn. My dad was sedated on the vent for 11 days last year. He woke up a few times but doesn't remember ever waking up

Back to the OP, I think,there are some misconceptions here. Vegetative state doesn't ncecessaily imply life-support or coma. Just unresponsive, I believe. Just saying the parents/doctors may not be the selfish monsters assumed. Carry on.
