Went septic after a stomach surgery. I was out for a month. Not everyone dreams in a coma but I did. The dream was so long that I was convinced it was reality and thought I had gone crazy. Weird shite like thinking I was stuck to walls and couldn't move (because I was stuck in bed) to terrible things happening to my children. fricking awful. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
Jeez. Googled & there are different stages of a coma & there may be some minimal consciousness.
Just read a brief article about a guy Rom Houben who was in that state for a 23 year nightmare. Said he screamed ,but he couldn't hear himself not no one hear him.
Terrifying. Sorry to hear that.

Yeah. I've read a ton about it since then. Some DR's still claim it isn't possible but they're completely wrong.

I almost started a thread about it but that's when Darth's near death thread was going and I didn't want to be a Johnny-come-lately.

This is why Kramer removed Elaine from her power of attorney.

Almost fully recovered. Still walk with a cane but not too bad when you consider that I couldn't move my toes or roll over in bed a year ago.

This is kind of becoming one.

I was on life support for six weeks and it took a few more weeks for my head to clear enough for me to be able to think clearly. One of the therapists that came in told me to get a notebook and write anything I could remember. This was in November of 2010. The first thing I wrote was Texas Rangers!

I'd rather not. High potential to be used in jokes against me.
