Nope, didn't say one swipe. But it wouldn't be all that hard. Brown bears are Kodiak and Grizzly bears and they are huge in their own right. Not only do they have a serious bite strength, they have 4 paws with claws that can be up to 6 inches long. Pretty damn formidable opponent for any animal in the wild.

The stock market- bulls & bear market got their names from when in the West they would have a bear fight a bull. The bear would win by push down breaking the bulls neck, the bull wins by charging up with their horns.
To make the fight fair and not kill any spectators the bear was chained.

The bulls supplied in those old west bear-bull fights were not in the same league with a Cape buffalo bull.

If in SE Georgia....I would go:
Drunk bridesmaid at "girls wknd" > Brown bear > Cape Buffalo. (Presuming of course she has 6" heels to go with those claws she's got)
