Violence only gives them more power and it’s scary there’s really no legal recourse except them paying you for being wrong. Accountability has to be had or it’s all for naught.

He was reported for owning illegal magazines and the police used that as evidence that he was a threat under the red flag laws of NY to gain access to his home and confiscate his firearms.

Lesson of this story: Don't live in New York if you want to make sure your guns stay in your possession. Those red flag laws are absolute bullshite. There's a reason why Trump got in deep shite with conservatives for entertaining them earlier this year.
This is also another example of why I have a healthy distrust of the police. They're flawed human beings just like the rest of us.

Such police state BS, this is going to end up with a dead veteran. Regardless of what happens hopefully this will shed some light on this unconstitutional BS and changes can be made. This would be a perfect thing for Trump to tweet on however I think he is pro flag law unfortunately.

Trump may be a republican and govern like a conservative but at his core, he's still an urban New Yorker that grew up in the culture of NYC and that's not something one just grows out of.
