Was coming here to post this. Red flag laws are unconstitutional.

The NFA was just the first step and now you see what has become of it.

ETA: and I was of the opinion that most policemen wouldn’t actually enforce those laws. But you see what happens.

Most policeman are tools of big government and as you see from some in this thread, many of our own countrymen are quick to believe anything they're feed by media.

NBC New York

You do know that it is possible the dude really did have a mental breakdown and that’s why he isn’t catching charges right?

I think the cops are lying about what brought them there and what occurred once they were there.

And you do know it’s possible the dude didn’t have a mental breakdown and he isn’t catching charges because he didn’t break any fricking laws right?

I just want somebody to give me a reading on what “shall not be infringed” means.

Particularly you people that support any gun law starting with the National Firearms Act IN 1934 from the dictator FDR.

He says his army colleague called the cops and said he was a threat. Was that before or after they went there?

Couldn’t tell you, but the message saying that was while he was in the standoff. So it was either his neighbor or some piece of shite that served with him that ratted him out for a law that isn’t even constitutional.

Most cops don’t want any part of it. Most are 2A proponents. Generalizations don’t help here.

Maybe. I guess I don’t know anything about the guy. If he did do or say something that could be perceived as a threat, I’m not sure what the cops can or should do about it that wouldn’t be perceived as a gun grab other than take the guy and leave the guns.

Really? Because we’re seeing what these “proponents” of the 2A are doing to this law abiding citizen. Cops are nothing but the thugs of government.
