Don't make it work. You're about to go to college and get surrounded by a ton of skanks who just want to get drunk and screw.

To be honest, most of us here are at least into their mid-20s, so it's a bit different for us. I was too much of an awkward arse to date anyone in high school.
My advice to you is just stay the course and break up with her right before you go to college. I can only think of like one relationship that made it through high school, college, and their 20s unscathed. That doesn't mean that it couldn't work out somewhat eventually, but you will be doing both of yourselves a disservice to at least not be free your freshman year. Can't think of many in the long run who regretted breaking up with their high school girlfriend right before going to college.
You're in high school, man. Just get laid and you'll be above around half of the people that go to college.
EDIT: And most importantly, don't get her pregnant. Make sure she's on birth control and use condoms if not.
And don't you dare propose to anyone before 25.
Jesus Christ, OML. I had no idea you gave solid honest advice.

No amount of groveling and bullshite you do will be a fix, or solve anything...she will eat up your behavior changes and use them to strengthen her crazy.

Exactly what it is. Your value in the sexual marketplace.
You know how men rate women on a scale of 1-10? Pretty much that.
The thing is, the only factor that determines a women's sexual market value is her looks. That's it. Which is why I laugh when women think that being independent or successful or career oriented matters one damn. Their looks is all that matters.
A man's sexual market value has more factors. Facial attractiveness, muscular build, height, confidence, game, wealth and status are among the factors.
The thing is, women trade up in the SMV and men trade down. Women will not frick a man equal to her SMV, it has to be higher. This means men have to go down in SMV to find a woman to frick.
This is a graph showing the ages of Peak SMV for men and women. Women peak in their early 20s, men in their later 30s.
Most of this is on the money but you still need to get out more bro. I'm as red-pilled as the next guy but a lot of this type of thinking will only harm your relationships with quality women. Yes, most women are simple-minded harlots, but there are good ones out there and you'll miss them by thinking this is true:
"The thing is, the only factor that determines a women's sexual market value is her looks. That's it. Which is why I laugh when women think that being independent or successful or career oriented matters one damn. Their looks is all that matters."
A woman who has good qualities other than her looks, was raised well, has class, and makes good money, is a huge asset to a relationship.

Ignore them. No female likes that shite. When I was younger and wanted to end a relationship, due to my own level of immaturity, I would abide by a strict AVOIDANCE UNTIL ITS A PROBLEM..cut all contact, thoughts..drop em like a shitty class.
Every single time, within about a month, there would be a bonus night or even a few.

Good
Women are attracted to douche bags. They are repulsed by nice guys.

GN, The fact you are quoting it is a perfect example of why people point and laugh
Sounds to me like you committed to a washed up, post wall, high partner count woman

These things(except makes good money) contribute to a woman's long term relationship value, not her sexual market value
Two different metrics
Long term relationship value is still important. I got downvoted once in a thread when I said I would never have a relationship with a woman with tattoos, or who does drugs, or who has daddy issues, or who gets trashed when drinking. All of those things are red flags that show that the woman is not relationship material. 3.5 billion women on this planet, why settle for a woman with red flags.

the past two years and I need advice (first girlfriend; still in high school baws)
Probably won't last. Just have fun with it and learn from the stupid mistakes you'll make. Dated a girl all through high school. She grew up before I did and ultimately left me. Wasn't my first girlfriend but definitely my first serious relationship.
Once you hit the 3/4 year mark you kinda assume you're gonna get married but hey shite happens. It took a while after the breakup for us to talk again but she's one of my better friends now and vise versa.
tl;dr don't expect it to last. Use it as a learning experience once it falls apart and hold yourself together
Bonus advice: Be happy with yourself. Find the things you like to do besides be with her.
A relationship won't work if you're constantly up each other's asses and your happiness depends on each other. And most importantly, don't leave your friends behind.
Now with all of that said, leave before it's too late. Go to college single. Trust me

Probably won't, more like definitely won't
I went to a big high school, 2300 students, my graduating class was 680 students.
Guess how many relationships from my high school ended up going all the way and getting married.
2.
2!
Out of hundreds.
And that's not just my grade, thats all the relationships within of all grades I went to high school with.
To think I had friends who would drink themselves to oblivion and do drugs and wail and mope and wallow over these women when things when bad when we were in high school.
High school relationships don't matter.

Probably because you won't meet 3,399,998,000 of them.

not her sexual market value
Cash in to a females 'sexual market' about as often as CRev.... you remind me of him way too much

Cool. Doesn't change things. I'd rather remain single my entire life and have a kick arse life than settle down with a woman with red flags.

Basically this
They're good learning experiences though if you date the right people.
I'd be a bum if my ex didn't slap me in the face and tell me to get my shite together
Sorry to break it you bro, but your first definitely won't be your last. Probably not what you wanna hear right now but trust me, women are frustrating and everything, but you're gonna meet so many girls, fall in love with some, and get your heartbroken by most. But it's all part of life. You meet some interesting people that you'll never forget. Don't stick yourself with just one the rest of your life.

I graduated in a much smaller class (about 80) and 3 couples of which went onto marry. Only one stayed intact though throughout the entire process. The other 2 couples broke up right before going to college, and then reunited their senior year of college. The thing is high schoolers don't really know what they want yet or process the responsibilities of a long term relationship. None of them regret the brief break-up so they could go to college with no pressure and explore what they're really into, not having a ball and chain attached to your ankle after high school.
As for the ones who stayed together going into Freshman year, none of those relationships lasted til October. Someone is going to cheat on someone or do something really dumb their freshman year that ends the relationship. It's just the natural order.

Oh, because people changing is something of an impossibility. Young people get tattoos, drink to excess, use drugs..most times they grow out of those stages. The tattoo of the Tasmanian Devil they got when they were 19 is not indicative of who they are at age 30. Their drinking to full inebriation at 21 is not as well.
You should probably just go move to Japan and settle with one of those dolls.
