Watch this movie. This is exactly how every financial representative I’ve ever met lives.

I know a guy who used to own an agency with State Farm and he gave it up. He said they were into some really shady business practices and wasn’t comfortable being involved at that level anymore.

Take whatever job would occupy enough of your time to the point you couldn't post here. Good luck.

I know the timing at the moment isn't the greatest, but have you thought about working for a cruise line?

The vast majority of the "help" is foreign, but they do have some US citizens working in management positions.

Or work for a major hotel chain, F&B work, or for a catering company, etc.

Those fin rep jobs like Northwestern Mutual, the vast majority of them flunk out. The ones who have success are the ones with access to a deep rolodex. If that was an industry you really wanted to try, I would suggest trying to catch on as an assistant to a rep, so you can get an idea of what they do. If you like that, maybe at some point you sit for your license exams and go from there.

Sales is a lot like dating/hooking up: must talk some good game, get people to like and trust you , and most importantly, be able to close the deal. If that sounds like something you might be good at, go for it...

Farming? Sales?

Do you have a college degree? You really need to go sit with a career counselor who can do some vocational tests with you to figure out some good career paths.

You are all over the map.
