Don’t smother him with messages, but don’t shy away for some “wait x number of minutes before responding” rule. Just go with the flow, and if he’s into you, then those rules fly out the window.
I didn’t like all of the lovey-dovey late night texting, but when it was with my future wife, I didn’t seem to mind.

Honest question. Why do gay people prance around half nude in a pride parade? What does being nude have to do with being proud of being gay.

Pretend you’re gay and lived your entire life as gay… in most cases likely internally and quite difficult and having to hide it from everyone important in your life that you cared about. In most cases it probably wasn’t easy. Let them do what they wanna do for a weekend or a month, they deserve it.

What's the actual progress? Is the mutual attraction confirmed?
If so, just be yourself. Don't go too overbearing but people slip away before you know it so I would definitely check up on it
The two biggest speedbumps in gay relationships is (1) finding someone who's gay, followed closely by (2) if he's looking for a relationship. Attraction comes next but standards modify when you find the rare case that actually meets 1 & 2 and if he's too picky, he's probably not really meeting part 2

What was stopping people from doing what they want year round?
I don’t think most people have an issue with people doing what they want. It’s more about making a public spectacle of it and then insisting everyone celebrate it, and if you don’t enthusiastically applaud EVERY aspect of it there’s the alphabet gestapo making you out to be the worst person ever. And honestly, some of the shite that goes on is absolutely repulsive, especially the part with kids.
That’s where I draw the line. I have no issue with the normal LGBs, but the Ts and the perverseness and the kids involved is a bridge too far for me. At some point it crosses over from rude and ribald to just sickening. It’s a kink parade at this point and kinks should stay where they belong, not in the streets.
And a month of this shite? Have a weekend and a parade without kids in drag and rubber cock costumes. It’s just too much and the corporate kowtowing is ridiculous.

Yea I think most people don’t care what others do in the privacy in their own home. I certainly don’t. I also don’t make out in public with my gf. Expressing yourself however you want is part of being free in this country but being gay or not it’s hard for me to respect someone who chooses to act repulsive in public. Show some civility is all I’m saying.
