I'd put it in the same boat as other bad and mostly-mindless entertainment. It might be mind rot stuff but there are plenty of competitors that have less stigma.

I went to a midget wrestling show in a bar a couple years ago. That shite was hilarious and they put on a good show. Would go again.

I don't pay a ton of attention to it, usually the buildup to wrestlemania is what I pay the most attention to. It was pretty good this year.

Big difference between going after men directly for their hobbies/interests and remarking generally on things that might be impacting societal decline.
I doubt any of us object much to criticizing adult women and their obsession with social media or influencers, because it has pretty real impacts on society, parenting, productivity, expectations, etc.
Not really putting wrestling into that camp, however. Strikes me as dumb but mostly harmless.

I started watching Mid-South wrestling when I was around 12 years old. Then, I graduated to WCW out of Atlanta in TBS. I really bought into the storylines and the action even through Wrestlemania 1. Once I graduated college in 1990, I just didn’t have the same desire to watch all of the drama.
My favorite wrestlers were Junkyard Dog, Big Red, Roddy piper , and Hulk Hogan.
