For businesses.

Your business or someone else’s business that you want to generate traffic and get people to see it.
Say what you want but over 3 billion people have a Facebook account.
That’s a lot of eyeballs.

That was my first thought.

The guy was in college when Facebook was at its peak on college campuses

Wife and I were already dating and had plans, no need for facebook.

Infatuation with what others have or are doing hints that you dont have much going for yourself.

I also didnt spend a full 4 years in college, I graduated at 21. No time for that bs, wanted to get to the money.

People's birthdays. I am not keeping track of that on my own. Telling someone happy birthday is my good deed for the day.

I exist on Facebook so that my wife can tag me in pictures of the kids so my side of the family can see them. Pretty much no other reason.

I don't have one, but don't judge people that do.

I'm always amused when people post they just left for vacation, gone 10 days, dog is with a sitter, or post expensive stuff they bought.

Just begging to get robbed.

only thing worse than worrying about who is on Facebook is asking for 'guidance' on how to analyze their reasons for being there.

Kids school still uses FB to put information out about upcoming events and/or post pictures about things the kids are doing at school. Quick way to see what's going on around town when you have nothing on the calendar and need to get the little shits out of the house for a few hours. Kill time checking out videos while on the shitter.

1. Hobby groups.
2. Stay in touch with friends from the Army

Bragging on a social media site (TD) about how you don't have a different social media platform may be the dumbest thing I've seen on here.

I'm a member of over 300 different groups that I have interest in. It's also a good way to keep up with local news you don't get on Twitter X. I see some stories I never would of know about nearby and far away.
