Honestly, not hating on the arrangement at all cause we all pay for it one way or another, but....

Using the term "Addiction" = pandering for sympathy from onlookers and a cop-out for lack of self-discipline. Mentally, you're lazy. Justifying any kind of behavior by slapping the "addiction" label on it.

One of my nieces worked in a strip club in Florida----one of those totally nude ones that were operating when she was into it.
She LOVED guys like you because they'd just hand over their week's wages for a few private dances and whatever else that followed.
She and one of her fellow dancers came down to N.O. before Katrina to visit during Mardi Gras and stayed with the wife and I. They would laugh at how gullible some guys are and how easily they just handed over money, and once the money was gone, they'd move on to the next mark.

Strip clubs have changed a lot over the years. I went to one in Austin for a bachelor party a while back and there were basically zero filters. You could feel all over their tits and arse during a lap dance.
I hadn’t been to one in years, but they used to make you sit on your hands. Lol.

Real story or fake, cool story bro. Hey look, I'm almost 50. I could easily say I had your same addiction when I was in my mid 20's. I had hiatus gaps back then, but if I remember the 90's, strip clubs come to mind. Several stories stick to mind.
One time in junior college, I had a final test (tough subject) and the night before instead of studying I was hanging out at the strip club. I remember I got a 35% on the exam.
Several times, I was the last patron to leave (4 or 5 am), I'm in Miami and there's even one here open 24 hours a day.
One time I remember spending $600 in 1 hour. Another time, a friend of mine and I got called up on stage only to have 5 or 6 butt naked ladies rub on us with whip cream and strawberries and all kinds of crazy shite only to find out somebody called the wrong dudes on stage after the show (free one there for us). And just like this, I have dozens of stories through out.
So if you are single and no kids, have fun, control your spending, don't go the irresponsible way. It can get as bad as gambling. As someone here suggested, get a hobby where you might get tangible things in return. Or get a good pr0n subscription and go that route.
I haven't been to one of those places in years but they could be a weak spot for me as well.

Can't really deny the veracity of that statement. The fact she wound up having 2 kids from 2 different men she got involved with at the clubs pretty much tells the story. Plus she pissed the money away as fast as she got it and has NOTHING to show for it today except 2 kids.
She danced her last dance long ago and between pregnancies, alcohol, drug use, etc. nobody wants to see her get naked now.
Her dad, my brother-in-law, was beside himself she chose that way in life, but as an adult----at least in age----she was free to choose the direction her life took her.
