Etoh is one of many causes of pancreatitis. Could be gallbladder, triglycerides, infection, cancer, etc.

Id say Ill usually drink about at least a 6 pack a day.
Anyone that drinks everyday, especially to drunkenness is an alcoholic.

Bloody stool isn’t a symptom of pancreatitis. She may have diverticulitis or another inflammatory bowl disease.

Yeah my dad died from it. She needs to get to the doctor today

You don't strike me as the sharpest knife in the drawer. I'm guessing you're an alter, but if not, damn.

My guess is that she’s fat, middle aged, and the pain occurs around eating time.

I deal with acute pancreatis at least once per year.
Causes : high triglycerides: high alcohol intake: high carb intake: high fat intake.
Triglycerides > 1500.
Remedy : fasting: liquid diet 24-60 hours.
Low carbs: lovaza medicine.
No real remedy other than waiting it out under a physicians care. Usually hospital stay for 2-4 days.
If vomiting go to ER pronto.
