Pretty sure my friend has been going through the symptoms of it for about 2 weeks now and still refuses to go to a doctor. She keeps saying she thinks its pancreatitis but keeps going to work.

Anyone ever deal with this shite?

Is she alive? If yes, she's wrong.

I'll never understand why or how people find themselves in severe, undiagnosed pain and just try to ignore it. That's your body telling you something is wrong.

Had a co-worker just go through this 6 months ago. Thought he had pancreatitis...detailed testing showed that it was a combination of other things. He wound up having surgery and losing about 20 pounds...but he is doing well, now. So, it could be something less severe...she just needs to get that shite checked out.

First she needs to stop drinking. Then she needs to go to the doctor.

I mean it may be chronic, and if so, there isn't much that can be done besides pain meds or surgery

My “ acute pancreatitis symptoms “ ended up being heart failure - organ pain is not the same as dealing with a common cold.
See a doctor & best of luck.

Could also be gallstones, but nobody’s going to know if she doesn’t get it checked out.

Tell to have some ice cold juice. Ronnie B said that would cure anything.

Dude either get some help for yourself or stop posting here looking for advice and attention.

FYI, if you have pancreatitis you aren't going to work or tolerating the symptoms for 2 weeks

Drop the whole "my friend" act

1. Does she drink a lot? If its from drinking the only way to improve it is to stop.
2. If its not from drinking its most likely from gallstones in which case she might be obstructed and could get sick as shite.

This seriously isnt me though. She doesnt have insurance and thats her main excuse for not wanting to go. I have great insurance through work so id have no issue with going.
