Birmingham is very much segregated economically in large portions. I live off Hwy 280 and can drive all day without smelling skunk weed and don’t bother to put my convertible top up or lock my doors most of the time when I go in a store or restaurant. If I drive north of Interstate 59, it is stereotypical, both white and black.

Do you have pics of that happening now with proof the cooks are from New Orleans? It could be someone who moved on up from Evangeline St for all you know.

From what I`m hearing, a lot of the regulars that go to that mall will no longer do so because of this.
It`s just a hangout for hood rats and sooner or later things like this are going to happen in that environment.

Remember when Trudy White had an ad with a guy in an orange jumpsuit saying he was in jail but wasn't worried cause Trudy White was going to show him some love. The Supreme Court made her remove it. But sad anyone is willing to vote for someone with that thought process.

I can confirm that it was a young girl. Very sad.

We’re considered one of the most segregated cities in the country. Hell, we used a mountain to separate whites and blacks.

I didn't respond to your earlier post as I got in here late, but prayers up to your daughter, her friends and the families.

They need to charge a cover charge to get in.

I just talked to a mom that has a kid at the school. It was a girl from there that was killed. 17 years old.

Don’t tell Baton Rouge that.

Horrible. I hope this sparks serious outrage but unfortunately the people responsible for this will remain silent.
