The two dead are likely the two battalion chiefs who were shot almost as soon as the got out of their trucks. They both took shots to the chest and were unresponsive.

It is almost never multiple shooters. If it is this time, it would be highly unusual and would probably put some of the militia nuts up there in the lead.
