I met my husband there. Sad.

But to be fair, giving handies in the food court bathroom; you've probably met a lot of people's husbands there.

Sorry, this place has conditioned me to respond like this.

I've never heard of that place but after a quick google I don't think I will be able to get my large horse polos there. For some reason I always forget about those local places, not a huge fan of Brothers.

I had never heard of that place either. Is Parc Lafayette those fancy really white buildings in River Ranch?

Changing out the brick floors was THE reason to go back. But too little, too late.

Nothing but apartments surrounding that place... and a Twin Peaks.

Tear it down, make more apartments.

Y'all never heard of partners? They used to be on the Blvd. next to picadilly. That is where most of my clothes came from before I had to start paying for it.

It's across the street from river ranch. How can you live in Lafayette and never heard of Partners?

I worked a few doors down at Sound Shop back in the early 90's...

And NO...if you snapped your fricking CD in half the One Year Warranty does not cover that. Also...New Releases drop on Tuesdays, so if you really did see that new local rap album in Houston last weekend, you probably should have bought it then...'cause it won't be on the shelves until Tuesday here.

I was on the crew that had to spray the final clear coat on those cobblestone floors prior to the opening of the mall.

If you think they were bad on your feet, try pushing a stroller over those bricks without your baby getting ejected.

Yeah, I'm not sure who thought that was a good idea. Maybe the architect's brother was an orthopedist.

Everything I need can be found at Service Merchandise at the Northgate Mall, no need to drive all the way to that crappy repo’d Acadiana mall

This!
We lived in Youngsville when the mall opened and pushed our daughter along on those fricking bricks.

They would cripple your arse in about 15 minutes.
Did like Cinnabon though....

So what has been more detrimental to the existence of malls, the internet (amazon, etc) or that other thing?

Wanna go ahead and expound on what 'that other thing' is?
